More details

Le Baigneur started out in Montreuil, a suburb of Paris with a rich multicultural heritage. Today their workshop is in the heart of Paris, but the company retains a deep attachment to their old hood. This trio of soaps pays homage to Le Baigneur’s origins. Milori is both relaxing and revitalizing thanks to Amyris and black pine essential oils. It contains raw cocoa butter from Paris’s RRRAW chocolate factory and rhassoul clay. The Bamako is enriched with olive oil, shea butter, coconut oil and honey and perfumed with patchouli essential oil. The Fraternité is enriched with beer, from Paris’s craft beer company Deck & Donohue, and barley flour, making for a rich and yeasty experience.

Fabien Meaudre

Men's beauty brand founder and old-school soap maker

For his 25th birthday, a friend bought Fabien, who had started out as a caterer but fallen out of love with the profession, a cosmetics-making kit – leading to an unlikely change of tack. In 2012, he took the plunge and launched men’s beauty brand Le Baigneur. Today the enterprising Frenchman sells his 100% organic soaps, oils and other toiletries, for men and women, from a slick blue-and-white-tiled atelier and boutique in central Paris.
