The clash between a sartorial icon of American sports culture, and the Art Nouveau aesthetic as seen through the prism of the traditional French café. Paris design studio OK Final designed a hoodie for the regular of an imaginary café, called ‘Café’, mixing these two aesthetic universes in a simple and graphic way. A place of conviviality and discussion, and a major French stereotype, the French café appealed to the design duo for its universal appeal and cultural importance. On the front of the hoodie is the Café logo, and on the back a reproduction of the receipt for the ideal café lunch – steak and chips and a glass of wine.
