'Chroniques de la Rue du Repos' Book

Made in
More details
A very personal tell-all workshop journal exploring the Tampograph's colourful Parisian ecosystem, its fauna, its flora, the creatures that congregate there. The text is 100,000 characters long, they are short chronicles, the equivalent of a 100-page book. It is also a very beautiful illustrated book, which shows his newest stamp pieces, and other older ones. Also includes a collection of stupid photos dear to the artist's heart.

Created in Paris. Printed in Lisbonne.

    248 pages - 219 x 268 mm

The illustrator who launched a boutique selling witty, refined stamp art

A trained illustrator, Vincent studied art at university in Bordeaux. At twenty-five years old, he published his first graphic novel, and the same year, 1995, he moved to Paris. In 1998 and 2000 he published two more graphic novels,
this time with the influential underground comic book publisher L’Association, and around the same time he began working as an illustrator for the French daily Libération, before moving on to work at Le Monde, all the while quietly developing his stamp art. Today he’s dedicated full-time to it.
