This trio of bouquets of dried basil flowers brings all the fragrance and sunshine of the Mediterranean directly to your kitchen. Lemon basil, Cinnamon basil and Genovese basil grown by Sicilian farmers belonging to Cédric’s network of passionate local growers. Makes a beautiful garnish for stone fruit and of course anything with tomatoes; you can also sprinkle over pasta, antipasto or pizza, garnish a salad, or a bowl of ricotta and honey.
Grown in Sicily.

The former acrobat bringing the Sicilian terroir to Paris

Born in Paris to a Sicilian father and a French mother, Cédric performed a spectacular pirouette from oft-injured Cirque du Soleil acrobat to olive oil entrepreneur – olive oil having been a staple of his visits to Sicily. After three years of preparation on the ground, in 2007 he opened épicerie La Tête dans les Olives, in Paris, to showcase the Sicilian terroir. La Table Unique, a tasting-menu concept, followed in 2009. He’s since branched out to London – and heirloom wheat, which informs his latest project, mill/eatery Mulino Mulè.
