The perfumer who translates his dreams and obsessions into scent

Born in Lebanon and raised in Paris, multi-tasking filmmaker, photographer and perfumer Rami’s first major passion was music. Since 1998, after an apprenticeship with Frédéric Malle perfumer Pierre Bourdon, he has created scents for major brands including Costes and legendary concept store Colette, where he launched his high-concept, holistic perfume brand Lola James Harper in 2013. When not on the road exploring the American dream with his family (his award-winning travel doc ‘WITH’ captures their exploits), he’s at his Batignolles studio here in Paris, a dream factory overseeing LJH’s room sprays, eau de toilette and dreamy scented candles.
